Dr. Miguel Mural

Miguel Mural is a neurosurgeon specialized in the treatment of skull base tumors with minimally invasive endoscopic techniques. He completed his initial training as a resident in neurosurgery at Professor A. Posadas National Hospital and then completed one year in the position of chief of neurosurgical residents.

He has taken trips abroad to improve his skills as a conventional and endoscopic skull base neurosurgeon. The primary purpose of these trips was to receive instruction from Drs Eduardo Vellutini and Aldo Stamm in Sao Paulo, Brazil and with Doctors Daniel Prevedello and Ricardo Carrau in Ohio, USA.

Currently, he is part of the neurosurgery department that specializes in skull base surgery in prestigious institutions such as Prof. A. Posadas National Hospital and the High Complexity Hospital in the El Cruce Network.

He is an Endoscopic Skull Base pathology consultant in pediatric hospitals such as Pedro de Elizalde Hospital, Dr. Ricardo Gutierrez Children's Hospital and Sor Maria Ludovica Children's Hospital.

His private activity is carried out in his office in the neighborhood of Palermo, Buenos Aires. He performs endoscopic skull base surgery in various institutions such as Los Arcos Hospital, Mater Dei Hospital, and San Jose Hospital. He also performs surgical procedures in cities in other provinces in Argentina to make transferring patients unnecessary. He does this in the cities of Mendoza and Rosario with the support of local colleagues.

Dr. Mural is a full member of the Argentine Association of Neurosurgery and participates actively every year in national and international conferences. He participates in the Rhinology Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil, worked as conference director at the Conference of Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in Rosario, Argentina and also worked as director of a conference related to Endoscopic and Transcranial Skull Base Surgery at El Cruce Hospital. He was part of the Junior Organizing Committee at the 2018 EndoBarcelona World Endoscopic Skull Base Conference.
